Age UK are seeking a passionate
Partnerships and Philanthropy Fundraising Executive to join our award-winning Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy team, working across our growing Philanthropy programme and thriving Corporate Development team.

You'll be an excellent relationship builder with strong administrative, analytical and organisational skills.

This role will support the Philanthropy team to research, recruit, engage and steward major donors, and support the Corporate Development team to win new corporate partnerships.

In both capacities, you will raise income that supports Age UK to drive change for older people. Please see the job description for role responsibilities.


This post may involve occasional travel within the UK to attend meetings, events and presentations, including some overnight stays.

This is a hybrid position within the Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy team, and you will be required to attend the London office a minimum of once a week. The Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy team currently work from the London office as a group on Thursdays, but flexibility to attend on other ad-hoc days will be needed.

Must haves:

  • A passion to support older people and Age UK's mission
  • Exceptional relationship management skills
  • Experience of working in a busy team environment, managing your own time over a range of outputs
  • Research experience using opensource tools e.g. social media, press or search engine
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the social skills and presence to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences
  • Outstanding administration skills and a keen eye for detail, with a good working knowledge of MS Office products and databases
  • Able to use own initiative and seek advice when needed

Great to haves:


  • Transferable experience in a fundraising, marketing or sales role is preferable, but not essential
  • A sound understanding of the principles of corporate and philanthropy fundraising, and basic knowledge of fundraising regulations and GDPR
