Job description

We are looking for a caring, considerate person to provide all aspects of care to a young lady with special needs.

Specialist training is provided by appropriate trainers.

Moving &handling, First Aid, Safe administration of Medicines, Peg feeding and Passive training and Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.

All other training is provided by the senior carer, and myself her mother and her Dad who is a retired teacher.

We both have a T Q UK Level 5 in Management and have employed her carers since 2005. We provide an excellent standard of care and do our best to keep our client and her carers happy.

All of her current carers are very knowledgeable and considerate of her needs so her standard of care is consistent throughout.

Our training is of a high quality and we encourage and help all carers to attain qualifications.

We work to a 4 week Rota

29 hour per week =

1 split shift of 6+ 4 hours = 10 hrs

1 late shift 7 hrs.

1 night shift 12 hrs.

Overtime is available to cover sickness and holidays.

The shifts are set out fairly and we work alternate weekends.

£9.40.£11 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:

All carers are expected to wear visors or and masks and full PPE is provided for close contact and we have a strict antibacterial regime at the start of every shift.

We wash our hands and antibac at the start of every shift. We have a regular cleaning Rota and routine.
