Are you a Head of Projects / Senior Project Manager looking for your next role?

Do you have experience delivering EPC contracts within the Special purpose machinery / Manufacturing / Engineering sector?

If so, I could have the role for you


Our client has invested heavily in their future, taking on a new unit to bring all their welding and fabrication in house, bringing down cost and time, and ensuring the quality of their product is in their own hands.

As designers and manufacturers of special purpose machinery, they produce their equipment for a variety of household names in the FMCG, Chemical and Energy sectors.


Due to some planned changes at the top, they are currently looking for a Head of Projects to oversee, and ultimately be responsible for, the delivery of all their projects.

Directly line managing 10 Project Engineers, assigning orders to the engineering team, liaising with the Technical Director, Operations Manager and Head of Engineering on a senior level, whilst mentoring more junior project engineers.


Day to day activities include:

  • Taking full accountability for all projects throughout the business.
  • Recruiting new project engineers, whilst managing an existing team.
  • Ensure the correct handover of projects from the sales team and being responsible for the information being handed over to the project team.
  • Produce weekly project documentation to the Managing Director, detailing risks, spend, progress and resource.
You will have a strong commercial background within project delivery, delivering EPC projects, ideally within special purpose machinery businesses.


In return you'll receive a salary of £60k-£65k, 25 days holiday, flexible working hours and a company performance-based bonus scheme.
