Case Handler Team Leader

Up to £30,000 D.O.E
My client has been established for 20 years and operate within the Occupational health sector.
They pride themselves on being a family run, independent organisation who offer expertise in Health, Wellbeing and Safety within the workplace.
Our client has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Case Handler Team Leader to join their Case Management team assisting with their client's health care schemes.
The key responsibility is to effectively lead, develop and motivate a team of case managers to deliver case management through the interpretation of possible reasons for ill health/injury.
Key duties:
- To show clear ownership and accountability for the delivery of all team outcomes and client relationships
- Be able to forecast and monitor core performance areas and client activity to support the running of the day to day operations
- Able to identify team development needs. Able to understand and demonstrate CSMART / GROW principles when setting objectives and coaching
- Able to identify customer journey/process improvement needs
- Understands and considers commercial awareness of team's activities
- Ensure the team establish the current reason(s) for ill health/injury and identify any underlying cause or contributory risk factors in case management
Key skills & knowledge required:
- Demonstrate confident telephone skills using effective listening and empathy with employees and stakeholders, covering both inbound and outbound calls
- Adopt an investigatory approach to cases and to ensure that all obstacles are identified and removed where necessary and or appropriate.
- Demonstrates analytical and problem solving skills
- Plan and control activities to meet objectives
- Maintain productive working relationships
- Manage workload effectively to meet customer deadlines and service standards
- Demonstrate knowledge and adherence to performance and procedure standards.
- Conduct regular 121's and PDP's with team using judgement and experience of learning and development principles
