Vacancy - Van Driver / Warehouse Assistant

Location - Goring-By-Sea

Working hours

• Monday to Friday

7.30am to 5pm, Saturdays 8:00am-12pm (Rota)

HPS have an exciting opportunity for a Driver/Warehouse in our Worthing Branch.

Our client is a trade sales business with ambitious plans for further growth.

We are looking for a Van Driver to assist with deliveries for our business.

You will be predominantly working as a delivery driver but may be required to assist in the warehouse where needed.

Ideally you will have experience of working in a Plumbers merchant, however if you have experience of working in a similar role or allied industry then we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Main duties will be delivery driving in a Long Wheel base, high top van.
• Delivery driving across the South East UK and local work.
• Develop great relationships with our Trade Customers
• Deal direct with the Public offering exceptional levels of service
• Working in the warehouse, goods in, picking and packing orders ready for delivery or collection as required.
• Work as an integral part of the team

Skills & Experience needed

• Full UK driving licence with some van delivery driving experience
• Delivery driver: 1 year (required)
• Manage, meet and exceed customer expectations
• Friendly, articulate, customer focused
