An opportunity has arisen for a Despatch Administration Assistant to join the RMS Ports group of companies based at our Trent Ports site in Flixborough, near Scunthorpe.

The role is full time and is based on a 5-day working week although flexibility will be required to cover busy periods and holidays.

Responsibilities and Duties

Working as a Despatch Administration Assistant you will:

Accurately produce loading tickets and delivery notes
Maintain and produce accurate stock and despatch reports as per customer requirements
Reconcile proof of delivery documents
Be initial point of contact for customers with regards stock related issues
Ensure swift turnround of vehicles on the weighbridge, ensuring drivers are sent to the correct place for loading/unloading
Be prepared to provide support for additional roles within the despatch office as and when necessary (with appropriate guidance & support provided).

Skills, qualifications and other attributes

Attention to detail, an inquisitive nature and accuracy of processing are all key attributes required for the role.
Excellent organisational and administration skills.
Must be comfortable with the use of technology and be ready to adapt and embrace new developments as they occur.
Previous experience of working with stocks and relevant systems preferred but not essential as full training will be given
Ability to collaborate well with others, but also work independently when required.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
