Area Sales Engineer - Industrial Sensors & Automation

The Role ofArea Sales Engineer - Industrial Sensors & Automation:As Area Sales Engineer working for this innovative manufacturer, you will be responsible for selling a range of high quality measurement sensors with an outstanding reputation for an excellent price to performance ratio. Your broad customer base willinclude OEM machine and panel builders manufacturers of metals, rubber and plastics and system integrators. The focus of your time will be identifying and developing opportunities for sales growth across the southern eastern quarter of the UK, by gaining aclear understanding of clients' needs and conducting product testing and trials to ensure the design is right first time.

For the Position ofArea Sales Engineer - Industrial Sensors & Automation ,we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Educated to a minimum HNC in an engineering or scientific field
  • Exceptional customer development skills
  • Consultative and transparent approach to dealing with customers
  • Able to network and build relationships with customer stakeholders at all levels
  • A true team player who enjoys a collaborative work environment
  • Must be resilient, well presented, dynamic, driven, enthusiastic, articulate and personable
  • Driving licence

Benefits of thisArea Sales Engineer - Industrial Sensors & Automationrole:

  • £45,000 to £60,000 basic salary DOE
  • OTE £10,000 commission, paid quarterly
  • Executive PHEV company car,
  • 25 days' holiday, (plus Bank Holidays)
