    Job Title: Placements and Assessment Officer

    We are currently recruiting for a Placements and Assessment Officer in Enfield.

    About the Role

    The successful candidate will commission placements and support services for Looked After Children and care leavers, ensuring that their needs are closely matched within available resources.

    This role is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and young people.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Conduct quality assurance visits to residential and semi-independent resources to evaluate provision against Ofsted evaluation reports.
    • Travel within Enfield and across the country to undertake assessment visits and placements, with a minimum of 6 visits per month.
    • Analyse assessment information and produce quarterly reports for senior management.
    • Provide robust management information on quality, quantity, and cost to senior managers.

    Requirements

    • In-depth knowledge of the complex needs of Looked After Children and understanding of appropriate interventions.
    • Flexibility to work on a flexible basis with some unsocial hours.

    Salary: £26.08 per hour (PAYE)
