Description

We are looking for a Patient Co-ordinator (Receptionist) to join our expanding team, who will provided a high level of customer care for our patients.
Our practice, based in the heart of York, is independently owned and provides family dental care.


Working hours:
Monday to Friday. Up to 40 hours per week. Willing to discuss both full time or part time options.

Specific Skills Required:


  • Dental background is preferred but medical, administrative or hospitality background will also be considered
  • Excellent focus on patient journey and hight level of customer service
  • Willing to learn and carry out continued professional development
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive, calm, caring with a positive attitude
  • Experience with Dentally Software (preferred but no required)
  • A good level of computer literacy including knowledge of Microsoft office 36
  • GDC registration (desirable but not required)

Your Key Responsibilities:


  • To provide a reliable, efficient and timely service to ensure we exceed patient expectations at every visit and provide a first class customer experience
  • Provide support to our patients via our reception our our inhouse call centre
  • To work as part of the whole dental team to assist in the provision and delivery of dental care services to patients
  • Ensure that all activities undertaken at the practice are in line with our policies and procedures
  • To maintain and update patient records and carry out administration duties

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
From £10.42 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus scheme
  • Performance bonus
  • Yearly bonus

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
