Accounts Payable Officer

*Office based for integration period*Contact:Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in Berkshire for an Accounts Payable Officer. The postholder will support the Cashiering and Accounts Officer and the authority more widely in ensuring the correct and timelypayment of creditors for supplies and services provided. They will ensure all moneys are properly processed and that systems are appropriately closed and balanced each day.

  • Finance qualification preferred or qualified by experience
  • Experience within a Local Authority finance background within Accounts Payable/Financial Controls
  • Great communication skills with ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Experience with experience of CIS deductions, reconciliation of Control accounts and knowledge of Customer Care.
