The region's leading energy consultancy, our primary function is to support businesses in buying energy as cost-effectively as possible and to support clients in meeting their carbon reduction objectives.
Reporting to the Office Manager, this role is designed to support the commercial function of the business, with the aim of delivering outstanding service to our existing client base.
The successful applicant will work closely with the sales team, with team work and attention to detail (particularly with numbers) being essential to the success of the role.

- To provide operational and sales administration support, specifically in relation to the management of the internal database (including data input), with a specific objective of freeing up the commercial team from unnecessary involvement in general administration
- Build relationships with our established supplier base
Key result areas and behaviours
- Verify supplies (Usages, contract end dates etc)
- Update database with new contract information
- Ensure Contract goes live as planned with new supplier
- Ensure all client Letter of Authority's are valid
- Updating suppliers with actual meter reads
- Capturing VAT adjustments
- Develop and improve existing operational processes
- Develop existing supplier relationships.
- Promote and maintain a high Company image of professionalism, competence and customer satisfaction
- Display a positive approach to the work environment and culture, including respectful cooperation with colleagues
- Provide technical and administrative support to the directors and sales executives, as appropriate
- Assist Accounts Department, where required
- Undertake professional development to ensure knowledge and skills continue to meet the requirements of the role, eg keep aware of developments in the energy market

- Communication skills able to communicate effectively and professionally over the telephone and in writing

- Computer literate and with a thorough understanding of MS Excel and Word
