Join us on the Journey... We have an exciting opportunity for an
Operations Planner to join our team based at
Lucketts Travel in
Fareham. In this role you will plan the allocation of vehicle and Driver resources to meet targets, ensuring capacity is managed and is identified and available for commercial use. You will provide visibilityof forward demand and capacity and liaising closely with Sales to ensure all revenue opportunities are taken.

What you'll do...

Plan and utilise all vehicle and drivers resource effectively, ensuring KPI's are delivered.
Schedule drivers allocations in advance, ensuring work is allocated to agreed timelines.
Reacting to operational situations, assisting with rapid responses to avert or resolve problems.
Deliver Driver allocations, on a rota system.
Liaise with Engineering to maximise vehicle availability against Engineering requirements.
Delivery & transfer allocation responsibility from planning to operational delivery daily.
Provide a provisional weekly forecast of vehicle and Driver availability for use by sales to maximise commercial opportunity
Be able to successfully maintain the balance between sales/commercial expectations and targets alongside operational delivery and utilisation.
Be able to build trust and work together as one team to deliver the ultimate overall goal and service to our customers and the business.
Ensure uncompromised standards for service and passenger safety are always delivered.
Find simple, smart and innovative ways to improve how we work for the benefit of our customers.
Successfully managing relationships with drivers and inspire the workforce to achieve and exceed what we need to deliver.
Assist in keeping the operation safe and legal by developing and maintaining a strong culture of health & safety practices & transport legalities.

What you'll need...

Understanding of the road passenger transport sector
Rota compilation experience for a large operational team
Must be selfmotivated and able to work without supervision, with a problem solving attitude
Must be able to work towards and meet strict deadlines
