The business has three sites; Milton Keynes the head office, Andover and Strood, and is one of the leading independent sheet plants in the UK.

The company has an annual turnover of more than £18 million and employs 90 people.

The business operates in the rapidly growing corrugated packaging market and the materials the company work with have strong green credentials and are playing a leading role in the war against single use plastic.

Position - Shift Supervisor

To lead a small team of four people at our manufacturing site in Strood in a growing business and develop a range of operator skills.

Our main processes include die cutting, folder/gluing, box cutters, stitching.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibility of a Reedbut Shift Supervisor includes:

Managing and developing a small team of four, making sure to achieve daily/weekly KPI targets.
Ensuring that the product produced by the team meets our highquality standards.
Encouraging the team to keep the working environment clean and tidy.
Ensuring 100% adherence to company health and safety procedures.
Completion of shift reports,

Key skills:

Experience supervising and leading team in a manufacturing environment is advant
A passion for leading and developing a team.
You must enjoy responsibility.
Current FLT counterbalance licence advantageous

Hours and Location Of Work
37.5 hours per week

Monday to Friday rotating 06:00 to 14:00 ot 14:00 to 22:00 - 30m break

Holidays
The basic annual leave entitlement is 20 working days. Additional holidays are based on length of service up to a maximum of 25 days.

Salary
Between £27,500 and £30,000 annually dependent on experience.

Annual profit share bonus - based on last year this was on average £1,000 per person. This can vary dependent on your performance and attendance
