Role Overview
Athena Racing LTD is seeking a full-time
Digital and Social Media Lead to join its
PR and Communications Team to work across the Great Britain
SailGP Team and
INEOS Britannia, the British America's Cup team. The position will support overall efforts to drive visibility, awareness and interest for both teams and will require flexibility on place of work and involves regular international travel.
Alongside social media channels the role will also cover the administration and reporting for the team's digital channels and data management including website and CRM & data eco-system.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the digital content, websites, and existing and new social media channels
- Provide administrative support for the daytoday operation of social channels and campaigns
- Maintain and enforce editorial and branding style guidelines with a content calendar
- Ability to write and edit concise copy for multiple social channels and website
- Collaborate CRM agency to targeted key audiences
- Provide admin support for and execute website platforms
- Monitor social media campaign progress and conversations using web analytical tools and contribute to data analytical report. Regularly review and track progress and retarget, when necessary
- Gather, analyse, and disseminate competitive intelligence
- Present to stakeholders on content strategy, including assessment of impact and resulting shifts in execution
Background / Experience
Essential:
- Ability to work collaboratively across a number of brands in the business
- Strong strategic thinking capabilities with demonstrated problemsolving skills
- Ability to operate both independently and in a collaborative, fastpaced team environment
- Entrepreneurial and passionate with a desire to exceed expectations
- Superior organisation, prioritisation and project management skills
- Extremely strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines with limited supervision
- Culturally sensitive and able to effectively work globally
- Strong feature writing and editing skills, with experience writing for a variety of print and online communications media
- Proven experience with digital and social media publishing and listening tools
Desirable:
- 2+ years relevant experience ins social media and digital experience
- Passion, commitment and understanding of sustainability and how it can be communicated.
- Experience of building relationships with commercial partners.
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical and organizational communication skills.
- Knowledge of digital media landscape; with proof of established media connections preferred
- Strong interest in sports.
- English speaking (fluent) required
- Knowledge of Photoshop and google Analytics
