Investment Associate opportunity within lower-mid market Private Equity offering full involvement in supporting MBO and Buy & Build Growth within SME businesses across high-growth sectors.

THE COMPANY

This established lower-mid market Private Equity Investor is renowned for supporting ambitous SMEs with Growth Capital and backing MBO teams within established businesses with a strong growth focus.

Investing typically up to c.£15m including follow-on acquisitionfunds into ambitious SMEs operating within Technology Services, Business Services, Software / SaaS and Life Sciences, the Investment Team has completed investments and achieved successful conclusions for entrepreneurs, buyers and secondary investors many timesover the years.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Joining the team as an Investment Associate you will work closely with Investment Managers and Directors and be fully involved in originating new MBO and Growth Capital investments, supporting Management teams and executing M&A transactions as part of buy& build growth strategy.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with Board Members and gain broad experience of business growth throughout the investment lifecycle.

Investment Associate responsibilities will include:

Identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities and supporting Investment Committee processes
Supporting Investment Managers and Directors in executing the firms investment strategy
Working closely with Management Teams throughout MBO and Acquisition processes
Handling followon / bolton acquisitions, overseeing key aspects of transaction processes
Building effective working relationships with advisors, introducers and management teams

THE PERSON
You will be a Corporate Finance or Investment professional able to demonstrate the following:

Background in Corporate Finance or Consulting Practice
Experience of M&A / Lead Advisory work or Due Diligence engagements (FDD / CDD)
Preferably ACA Qualified having trained in Top 10 / Top
A strong desire to work within Midmarket Private Equity and to be instrumental in the growth and success of entrepreneurial businesses operating within exciting, highgrowth sectors
