Description
Central Government organisations are transforming how they procure.Our client is looking for a commercially minded Contract Manager to help evolve and embed value-add procurement processes across their stakeholder landscape.
The role of Contract Manager will see you:
- Accountable for managing all commercially focused relationships with the suppliers within your category, to ensure value for money
- Develop and manage relationships that complement the stakeholder objectives, and promote excellent decision making
- Manage the endtoend lifecycle of procurement tenders, in line with OJEU regulations
- Provide contractual advice and recommendations on all aspects and activities to ensure compliance to procurement procedures and frameworks
- Provide key inputs in the delivery of highly complex and businesscritical change efforts, in accordant with contract management best practices
- Responsible for facilitating the resolution of contractual disputes and agree process, present business cases, and publishing and resulting agreements of improvement commitments
- Collaborate with other functions, such as finance, and stakeholder groups, to ensure commercial considerations are made early in the purchasing process
Hybrid working is available from anywhere within the UK, with travelrequired to your local office site 2 days per week.
