We are looking for Maintenance Workers to join the Maintenance team based in Bradford and North Yorkshire.

Horton Housing Association have properties and sites across Bradford, Kirklees, Calderdale, and North Yorkshire so a willingness to travel is essential.

You will be responsible for maintenance and repair work on properties and sites owned or managed by the organisation. The work including, but not limited to, plumbing, joinery and flooring.

You will have the skill and ability to move, assemble and dismantle furniture including the removal and disposal of household/outdoor items and rubbish.

You will conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to maintain and comply with all regulatory standards. You will have previous experience in property maintenance and outside grounds work, within a related field. You will have an understanding and knowledge of risks assessments, and health and safety checks.

This is a permanent full time position, working 35 hours per week, typically Monday - Friday, flexible and agile working is available.

Salary is £22,920.00 per annum, which may increase following a 12-month review of performance in role. We offer great benefits including, 7.6 weeks 'annual leave including statutory holidays and a contributory pension scheme. We provide tools, equipment, a full induction and training in the role. We also provide a company van with a fuel card, for business use and your commute to work. A valid driving licence is therefore essential for this role.
