A thriving and nationally expanding Insurance company are looking for a driven Account Executive to join their friendly, fast-paced office based in Plymouth.
Purpose
Key Responsibilities
Working in accordance with procedures, standards & guidelines set:
- Continuously identify areas for improvement and provide potential solutions to the
- Deliver excellent customer service whilst meeting customer requirements efficiently &
- Understand the processes and procedures required to provide quotations & put forward.
- Ensure that all product information provided is clear, fair, and not misleading, allowing.
- Calculate New Business premiums in accordance with the specific carrier's risk.
- Ensure that telephone calls are answered & dealt with promptly & efficiently.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of all customer interactions.
- Identify complaints and refer to the necessary complaint handler.
- Required to be a referral point within the Branch.
- Ensure that you remain compliant in everything that you do; including but not limited to
Technical Knowledge
- Understand the legal principles of insurance and insurance contracts.
- Work in line with the Financial Conduct Authority
Skills and Competencies
- Minimum 2 years' experience working within a broking or underwriting environment.
- Competent in windowsbased programmes; word, excel, outlook and internet.
- Excellent communication skills: written and oral.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Good timekeeping, organisation and able to work under pressure
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- Positive cando attitude.
Desirable
- Educated to GCSE level an advantage.
- Cert CII qualification an advantage.
