As part of this Telesales team, you'll be fully trained, not only in selling techniques but also in the details of self-assessment tax, VAT, and self-employment in general.

With these new skills and knowledge, you'll be able to best advise customers on theproducts or packages we can offer to suit their needs and support them with their finances and accounting.


As the Assistant Manager you'll also be tasked with supporting the Internal sales Director to successfully deliver departmental KPI's, whilst acting as a mentor and motivator for the other members of the telesales department.


In this role, your duties would include:
Monitor, collate and report on daily, weekly and monthly sales records for individuals, teams and the department as a whole

Conduct morning Sales meetings

Train new starters on all products.

Ensure all new starters are welcomed and inducted into each of the teams

Ensure the departmental KPIs are met successfully

Be part of products and development in new products / systems.

Conduct 121's on a monthly basis.

Support the Internal Sales Director in developing the sales department, providing feedback for improvements wherever necessary

To identify and pursue opportunities for cross-selling Group products and services to generate business and increase profitability

To make follow-up phone calls to prospective clients to confirm receipt of information, overcome potential objections, and possibly re-sell the proposition

Provide feedback to management of potential improvements to existing procedures and scripting

Support colleagues and team members with professional problems, working to help them to resolve any issues


What you'll need
Previous experience in a supervisory/people management capacity

Proven track record in a fast-paced sales environment (minimum 2 years)

Strong organisation skills

The personality and drive to inspire and motivate a team

Focus on targets and delivery of objectives

Strong communication skills


Desirable Previous experience working within Financial Services Knowledge or previous experience working within Self-employment, An understanding of the Construction or Logistics industries
