We are now seeking a Warehouse Operative, FLTD and Van driver to join our growing team.


Requirements for the role:


  • Operation of KANBANS
  • Use and implementation of Cycle Counting Process
  • Experienced FLT Driver
  • Clean Full UK Driving Licence
  • Attention to Detail
  • General High Standards of Housekeeping
  • Evidence of Right to Work in the UK
  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Operative
  • Minimum 1 Year
  • Bonded Goods experience an advantage

Key responsibilities

1) Health, Safety and environment

  • Ensure that the warehouse facilities operate in accordance with PRF Health Safety and environmental guidelines.
  • Bring health and safety improvement suggestions to management attention.
  • Ensure that all near misses, accidents and injuries are reported in line with PRF policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all materials are in good condition, no damage that could cause leaks or spillage.
  • To ensure that all pallets are in good condition to facilitate safe storage and transportation.
  • Ensure that all equipment, including vans and FLT's are safe to operate, reporting immediately any issues to Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Ensure 100% compliance to Company Dress Code, including relevant PPE for a Warehouse Operative.
  • Ensure that all waste is correctly handled, packaged, and managed, to comply with disposal and recycling requirements.

3) Quality

  • Ensure that all PRF work instructions, procedures and policies are followed and implemented correctly in support of customer and quality standards such as ISO 900
  • Ensure that all shipments are adequately packed that will ensure safe transit and on a suitable pallet that is approved for transit into the country of destination an compliant with all national and international shipping requirements.
  • Ensure that all documents are correctly completed with no gaps or missing information.
  • Ensure that deliveries are checked on the delivery note. and against the Purchase order.
  • Make suggestions that will improve the quality of process, these are to include saving time, use of equipment and systems that enhance our processes.
  • Ensure awareness of all staff are responsible of quality within the Department.
