Their unique services have caught the attention of many organisations in the UK and overseas. As a result of this, the client is looking to expand their Engineering team with a Technical Lead.

This role is a fantastic opportunity to work in an engineering environment in specialised production sector.

This role will be responsible for managing and leading interdisciplinary interfaces and aspects of engineering at a system level over one or several products and/or projects; ensuring they are carried out in a visible, structured, and traceable manner.

Responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and managing critical interfaces between engineering, client, project

management, production, installation, commissioning, quality assurance, HSE,

document control and vendors.

• Manage the engineering of projects through conceptual design through to client

handover and responsibility for ensuring the correct deliverables are defined,

managed, and produced to the highest standard.

• Contribute to the introduction and improvement of engineering standards, systems,

templates, and processes.

• Chair design reviews.

Qualifications

• An engineering degree or other appropriate major and be a Chartered Engineer.
• A minimum of ten years' experience in a responsible engineering role leading and

- working with multi-disciplined and multi-ethnic teams.

• Significant knowledge of the design of engineering systems, their requirements, the

- design of products and discrete engineering packages.

• Significant knowledge of engineering compliance, qualification, verification, and

- validation aspects.

• Knowledge of design review and design freeze techniques.
• Experience of concept design, FEED, detail design, assembly/build, testing,

- installation, and commissioning.


Desirable skills:

• Six Sigma green belt.
• Knowledge of HAZOP, LOPA, and risk assessment techniques.
• Knowledge of pressure equipment, pressure vessels and their regulations.
• Knowledge of the explosive atmospheres and hazardous area classifications.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Experience in a similar highly regulated industry

Salary:
£50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
