Description

Division:
IT

Job type:
Digital Product Specialist

Location:
Manchester

Salary:

DOE

The Who:

In 1988, our founders had an ambitious dream to form the largest specialized travel company in the world - to set the example of how touring and travel should be done.

The belief that travel is one of the most emotive experiences you undertake and our ambition to make this experience the absolute best it can be for the traveller, has become the guiding principle for TAG.

We believe that through a bespoke, high-touch and personal service, we can alleviate the stress and complexity of travel.

So, whether it is a business meeting to close a deal, an event to meet industry peers or a gig for 50,000 screaming fans, we will get our clients to where they need to be feeling ready to take on the world.

The Why:

At TAG, our company values matter. We appreciate our staff working as a
Team, having
Ambition and being
Genuine.

You will have a passion for the job you do, as well as a drive to want to do better - in return, TAG will support your growth and development, as well as offer opportunities to progress or maybe even change tack

The What:

The role of Digital Product Specialist provides vital support to TAG's valued clients and internal colleagues across all TAG divisions, including corporate, entertainment, and leisure travel with the implementation and configuration of online booking tools.

The position is instrumental to TAG's continued product development and the successful on-boarding and on-going user experience and training.

Here are just some of the things you'd be getting involved with:

  • Provide internal and customer-facing system support for TAG's digital client-facing technology
  • Support daytoday system updates, configurational changes, testing and system maintenance tasks
  • Validate, review and monitor site escalations received from both external clients and internal colleagues
  • Deliver system training to external clients and internal staff via online demonstrations or inperson meetings where necessary
  • Lead clientfacing implementation projects (based on scope and complexity) across the TAG digital product suite
  • Create internal and customerfacing information documentation to ensure a smooth handover of new accounts at golive and into business as usual
  • Ensure all documentation for Digital products are maintained and distributed where applicable.
  • Work closely with and support the Account Management and global Sales teams as required for new business processes, including the delivery of product demonstrations and assisting with functionality queries and best practice

The How:

To be successful at TAG is as much about mindset and attitude as it is about skill-set and qualifications.

We're a team who share the same desire and passion to go above and beyond for each and every client.

We revel in making the seemingly impossible possible, always rising to the challenge with ambition and a genuine, open attitude.

For this role, you would be working a flexible pattern of 8-hour shifts (including 1 hour lunch break) between the times of 12:00pm mid-day and 22:00pm.

We work flexibly to accommodate our TAG team colleagues, meaning on occasion there could be requirements outside of normal working hours to manage time zones and other work commitments.

As a Digital Product Specialist there are several credentials and attributes which would be advantageous, but a determined attitude and willingness to learn, are equally important.

  • Experience of SAP Concur Travel implementation processes and procedures
  • Detailed knowledge of the SAP Concur Travel product
  • Travelport GDS experience and competency
  • Travel industry professional, with prior customerfacing agent booking experience
  • Knowledge of alternative global online travel booking tools alongside an understanding of API and data integration platforms
  • ITIL/Service based and Project Management qualifications or experience
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office suite
  • Proven record of working in a fastpaced environment

The Where and When:

This is a full-time role based in London or Manchester. You will report into the Online Product Implementation Manager, who is also based in Manchester.

There are other regional teams based in the US, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore that you may work closely with too.

The Important Bit:

As passionate as you may be about changing the face of travel, let's be honest - you're not doing this for free.

So, here's our promise to you:

  • Competitive salary
    DOE
  • Healthcare cashback scheme
  • Wellness/EAP programme
  • Employee discounts
  • Enhanced employer pension contributions
  • Servicebased holiday entitlement
We are also committed to offering an equal opportunity for all employees and applicants.

How to Apply:

And before you press send, please make sure you're eligible to work in the UK
