Purpose of Role


The role supports the Energy team at Landsec by providing administration and smooth functioning of the day to day activities.


Key areas of the role:

Management of Utilities (Electricity, Gas and Water), monitoring Energy Team inbox and managing utility related queries, Liaising with utility suppliers, debt collection agencies and consultants, processing and preparing incoming supplier invoices.

Effective energy and carbon management is becoming increasingly important with the added complexity of company systems and environmental legislation and this role will help support Landsec achieve its Sustainability Targets.


Job Description:


  • Monitoring and managing of Energy Team mailbox
  • First point of contact for credit control / account enquiries internal and external customers
  • Coordinate payments for utilities for void units, liaising with the appropriate teams
  • Completing Change of Tenancy requests, using finance systems and liaising with the appropriate teams
  • Supporting Energy Analysts in Change of Tenancy's / New connections/ meter disconnection processes
  • Dealing with general utility invoice queries from both internal and external customers
  • Managing the paper / electronic utility invoices in the department
  • Process and prepare incoming supplier invoices for weekly payment runs
  • Provide remittance advice notes to utility suppliers
  • Process cheques/monies received in conjunction with the Finance Department
  • Validation and input of monthly meter readings received from site (Operations Team/ Facilities management) ensuring data within the system is accurate
  • Collating and preparing Half hourly consumption data for the team
  • Assist Energy Analysts, Sustainability Managers and Operation Teams with meter read enquiries if meter data is missing or data integrity is challenged as necessary
  • Tracking queries for data issues with internal and external providers
  • Liaising where appropriate with Energy Analysts/ Sustainability Managers/ Operation Teams/ Finance for utility related enquiries
  • Supporting Energy Analysts with preparation of cost and consumption reports for occupiers
  • Supporting Energy Analysts/ Billings Team with preparing Completion Statements using Optima Energy systems
  • Assisting with the recoverable invoice process as directed
  • Any other duties as directed by the Energy Bureau Manager or Energy Bureau Team seniors

  • Tenant oncharging experience
  • Previous property company experience
  • Optima Energy Experience

Salary:
Up to £30,000 per annum depending on experience
