The Role
We're currently looking for an experienced, qualified and dynamic
freelance tutor to manage all aspects of delivering our Employability and/or other vocational courses at our training centre in Chatham, Kent


Other courses include:
IT, Functional Skills, Health and Social Care, Logistics & Warehouse, Business Admin, Customer Service.


As a Strive tutor, you will be responsible for delivering a consistent, quality learning experience and helping all learners succeed and reach their potential.

You'll be working directly with learners to help them achieve their qualifications, providing one-to-one support throughout the course and delivering the course to the group of learners.


Note:

This position is on a freelance basis, and you would need to be available to work Monday to Friday (full week/s) on a regular basis.

The Employability course is 1 week and the vocational courses are 2 weeks.


What you will be doing:

In the role of Tutor, you'll be responsible for the following:

  • All aspects of teaching, learning and assessment of the qualification.
  • Ensure all awarding body quality requirements and qualification outcomes are met.
  • Provide learners with ongoing assessment and feedback through the duration of the course and provide individualised feedback on portfolios.
  • Monitor each learner's progress and provide the necessary support to ensure they complete and achieve their qualification in a timely manner.
  • Provide insightful, constructive and informative feedback to help learners maximise their potential.
  • Follow Strive Training's quality assurance processes and procedures and attend standardisation meetings as required.
  • Embed key themes such as Safeguarding, PREVENT, and equality and diversity in teaching/learning.

What you bring along:


  • Relevant teaching qualification (AET or equivalent) and/or assessing qualification.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful Employability/Business Admin courses in a Further Education setting.
  • Experience and demonstrated competencies in Employability/Business Admin sectors.
  • Confidence in using VLE to support your delivery
