Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a 4 month Temporary Band 4 Brokerage Administrator to work within the NHS on a 4 month temporary agency contact.

This role will be based across all of the Birmingham & Solihull ICB sites.

Hours
37.5 hours per week (Mon - Fri)

Rate
PAYE Rate - £11.47 (£14.50 Ltd Rate) paid weekly via an umbrella company.

Main Duties
To undergo administrative work and provide secretarial support to various teams, wards or departments within the hospital.

This will include being the first point of contact for team/ department, which could involve duties such as:

To ensure all NHS placement contracts are in situ and agreed with the pricing structure:


  • To support the brokerage care of those CHC patients who have deemed eligible individuals:

Update systems to provide oversight of available care market capacity:


  • Ensure all funding is signed and in place prior to placement:
-
To make outbound and receive inbound telephone calls:


  • Cross cover other administrators as required:
-
Support training and induction of new staff:


  • Provide support and advice to the clinical team

Knowledge and Experience/Skills / Abilities
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal:


  • Strong knowledge of IT packages including databases, reporting as required:
-
To have a knowledge of office systems and administrative procedure to maintain an efficient and effective service to the team:


  • Contribute to the setting up of systems and procedures in the office to promote efficiency within the team:
-
Ability to use a range of software programs and a range of office equipment including photocopier, scanner and fax machine
