This long established and highly successful local company is looking to recruit a Senior Buyer. If you would like a salary of up to GBP31,000 and want to build a career at a company thats been trading for over 40 years and has a range of customersright across the UK then this is just what you are looking for.

What will you be doing as a Senior Buyer?

Sourcing new products and suppliers from both inside and outside the UK
Working with key stake holders
Negotiating retrospective rebates and monitoring targets
Managing audits to monitor the quality of the branded products
Generating quarterly figure reports for turnover and volume
Supplier KPI measuring, monitoring sales and service levels
Working with the sales and marketing to plan ranges and benchmark products
Updating and maintaining supplier record and diaries for the category

We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

Strong experience within a similar Buyer or Purchaser role
CIPS qualification or similar would be desirable
Strong negotiation skills
Team player
Excellent communication skills

What will you get in return for your work as Senior Buyer:

Starting salary of GBP30,000, rising to GBP31,000 after successful probation
22 days holidays + bank holidays (rising by a day a year to a maximum of 25 days)
