My client based in Worcestershire, is looking to recruit an Industrial Supervisor to work across several sites to support the Area Manager on a Permanent basis.


The main aspects of the role is to support the area manager in ensuring day-to-day operational activities across the sites are operated safely, on-budget and efficiently.

The workers will include HGV Drivers, Plant Operators, Team Leaders and general operatives.

The main responsibilities associated with the role includes

  • Ensure that all visitors and subcontractors are able t perform tasks in a safe working environment
  • Ensure that regulations and company policies are implemented and adhered to at all times
  • Ensure drivers perform all necessary vehicles checks
  • Ensure all issues related to plant maintenance and defects are reported correctly
  • Maintain company discipline and personnel standards are maintained
  • Ensure work performance is carried out to the highest possible level
  • Prepare and submit management reports as required
  • Previous experience in a similar supervisory role within a manufacturing/engineering environment
  • Ideally hold a WAMITAB qualification or be prepared to undertake this qualification
  • Excellent IT Skills especially MS Office
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to get on with people at all levels
  • Full clean driving license (Company van will be provided to travel between sites)
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations
The working hours are Mon-Fri

The starting salary without the WAMITAB is £32,932 which will increase to £34,932 as soon as you have gained the qualification
