Your key responsibilities

Be dedicated compounder for the Flavourist on site
Preparation of samples for evaluation in project development and submissions to clients.
Conduct relevant tests and analysis on the flavours such as (Brix, pH, density, flashpoint) using the laboratory equipment.
When required sample flavours and prepare, pack and dispatch to customers using Core DB and DHL systems.
Maintain the laboratory in good operable condition ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are met and reporting any discrepancies to the Flavourist.
Ensuring chemical waste is disposed of responsibly and regularly to avoid contamination.
Manage the stock of raw materials and the flavours library by ordering in stock as required and keeping details records of deliveries in their relevant systems.
Manage the stock of equipment and stock levels of all sample bottles and pots, all packaging
Manage various administrative internal systems/tasks and keep daily record on orders, dispatch, fridge temperatures and with assistance prioritize laboratory work.

You bring

Science based A level or HND in Food Science and/or Technology or equivalent
23 years of experience in a laboratory environment
Good level of English
Passion for food preparation and tasting
