Receptionist - Private Medical Practice


We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to assist our team in the day-to-day smooth running of a small, busy private medical practice managing patients with hearing, tinnitus and balance problems.

The individual will be responsible for providing a professional, efficient, and friendly service for our team and patients.


Location:
Devonshire Place, London


Job Type:
Full-time


Hours: 9.00am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Holiday cover and some flexibility on working times maybe necessary.


Salary:
TBC according to relevant experience


Duties and Responsibilities
Meeting and greeting patients.

To provide professional, polite and efficient telephone service for patients and other callers.

Diary management, booking, confirming and cancelling appointments.

Manage deliveries, couriers, post, and general clinic management.

Taking daily payments and managing patient invoicing and chasing.

To work with practice staff to ensure that the clinic's daily processes are performed smoothly.

To maintain a pleasant manner with all patients and staff.

To keep reception area and waiting room clean and tidy and deal with all housekeeping issues.

Going to the bank and post office.

Opening and closing of the clinic daily.

Filing.


Skills and Experience
At least 2 years office administration, front of house/customer service experience.

First class interpersonal skills.

Excellent spoken and written English.

Excellent verbal communication skills and customer care skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Great time management and flexibility.

Ability to resolve queries in a timely and efficient manner.

Ability to organise and prioritise work, and to work under pressure.

Knowledge of Healthcode and Carebit would be an advantage, but training will be given.

Punctual, professional, pro-active and reliable.

Quick thinker and ready to learn on the job.

£22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
