Artesia is an innovative company based in Yate, just a 25-minute drive from Bristol and walking distance to Yate railway station.


We are a leading water resource management consultancy, with industry leading expertise in data analytics, water demand and water resource management with a growing team of statistical analysis and mathematical modelling experts.

We work with all the UK based water companies, along with Government and regulators, providing pioneering solutions to their toughest of problems.

We are looking to appoint a Senior Project Coordinator initially for 6 months to cover maternity leave.

This role will assist in the delivery of a wide range of data science and consulting projects for our water industry customers.


Working with project coordinators, data science and industry project leads you will help ensure the smooth and efficient running of our projects by dealing with day-to-day project management issues.

You will also assist operational leads by ensuring key project information is provided appropriately and updated in a timely way.

You will report to a member of the senior management team.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Overarching accountability of the schedule for all projects
  • Managing utilisation of the two project coordinators
  • Analysing and reporting on time spent vs income
  • Drive continuous performance and adaption of processes, methods and ultimate success of the project coordination function
  • Assisting with resource management and flagging potential resource conflicts
  • Support relevant team members to drive project delivery
  • Over see project documentation, for example risk registers and issues logs.
  • Ensure up to date and accurate information on project progress, actions and milestones.
  • Help project teams provide regular updates to clients.
  • Monitor and report on financial status of projects.

Key Skills and experience:


  • An understanding of project management principles, methods and processes.
  • Solid organisational skills, including multitasking and timemanagement.
  • Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and managing a high workload with conflicting priorities.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience of working in dynamic and fastpaced environments.
  • Experience in cloudbased project management tools.
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office 365
  • Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint.

Benefits

  • Friday 37.5 hours per week.
Salary £33,000 - £37,000 depending on skills and experience.
