DMN Design Build are an exhibition design and build business based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

For the last 60 years we've specialised in the design, manufacture and installation of exhibition stands across the UK and Europe, for high-end, world-renowned clients.

We're currently looking for a high-end sprayer/finisher who will be responsible for producing an exceptional finish on all our wood and metal elements of our custom exhibition, shopfitting and fit-out joinery products.

• Have experience of using a variety of AC paints, lacquers, and stains, and will be expected to work to high standards.
• Checking over, preparation, spraying and finishing of bespoke counters, panels, and various other wood elements. Sanding, burnishing, and working the material is a very large and important part of the role which can sometimes be physically demanding.
• Work with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential.
• Work to extremely tight deadlines and manage a busy workload.

Key Skills Required:

• At least 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience with all furniture lacquers, paints and stains.
• Experience of spray metal coatings, but not essential,
• Experience of working with a range of woods, laminates, veneers, metals.

DMN Design Build produce bespoke exhibition stands and furniture for shopfitting, fit-out and refurbishment projects where no two things are the same, therefore problem solving along with a dynamic mindset is essential to success within this role.

You will on occasion be required to assist within the workshop out with spraying preparing exhibition stands and a variety of work on-site which may involve worldwide travel.

Hours are from 7:00am - 4:30pm with additional hours readily available.

Availability to work additional hours is a must, along with the availability to work onsite in the UK and Europe when required.

The role will initially be on a subcontract basis leading to the potential going on the books if desired.

Up to £18.00 per hour
