Home Instead Senior Care is the world's leading provider of care services for older people in their own homes.

Here at the Lichfield & Tamworth office we strive to create a warm, friendly and fun place to work for all our Care Professionals.

The role of a Care Professional can vary from day to day, but it will always be a very rewarding one.

You will provide our clients with help and support so they can continue to live happily and safely in their own homes for as long as possible.


The help and support could include:

  • Companionship
  • Meal preparation
  • Keeping their house safe and clean
  • Administering or prompting medication
  • Taking them shopping or to appointments
  • Helping them to get bathed and dressed
  • Helping them get to bed at night. What we look for in a Care Professional It's more about you as a person than your qualifications or experience.
We always use the 'Mum' test to ask ourselves "would I be happy if this person was caring for my mum"? Here are some of the attributes we are looking for in a Care Professional:

  • Kind, compassionate, patient and caring
  • A desire to make a positive difference to their clients
  • Trustworthy and respectful
  • Reliable, thoughtful, and helpful
  • Good Communicating to the team.

Job Description:

Home Instead Senior Care is the world's leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people.

With minimum visits of one hour, award winning training and an excellent reputation we are immensely proud of the quality of care we provide.

We match our Care Professional to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enables us to provide personalised support.

Must Live within the Lichfield area Ideally WS1- WS14 Post code area

Mornings, Lunch Time,Tea Time & Evening Flexible hours available


Have you got any hours available on regular basis to support our clients 2-3 hours a day 4 days a week plus Alternate weekends.

Qualifications:


No Experience required


You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a Care Professional However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people.

This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience. You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.
