Working Hours: 37 Hours Per Week (7:00 - 11:00, and 15:00 - 18:30 Mon - Thursday
7:00 - 11:00, and 15:00 - 18:00 Friday)

Contract Type: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract with a view to permanent appointment.

The Caretaker role includes the responsibility of being a key holder, ensuring the school environment is secure and sharing responsibility for the opening and closing of the premises.

It will also require the attendance out of hours when necessary in the event of an alarm call.

The Caretaker will assist the Site Supervisor prepare the premises for out of school activities, such as holiday clubs, and liaising with other external contractors.

The Caretaker will be part of the school's Health & Safety Team, and will report to the Site Supervisor and School Business Manager on all such matters.

Have the ability to use their own initiative and work as part of a team.

Demonstrate excellent communication and organisation skills.

Be professional and approachable with all pupils, parents and staff.

Supportive staff, parents, leadership teams and governors.
