As a part time childcare practitioner, you will be responsible for working as part of the team to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can learn and grow.

Your role will involve planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, fostering social and emotional development, and promoting a love for learning.

  • Collaborate with parents and other staff members to ensure the wellbeing of each child
  • Working on a flexitime contract, you would be flexible where possible to meet the requirements of the preschool, for example covering sickness, annual leave and to adhere to ratios.
  • Organising and implementing weekly outings for the children to venture out into the community.
  • Working as part of the team in early identification of special educational needs.
  • Supporting children with special educational needs.
  • Working with outside professionals to support the needs of the children.
  • Attending termly meetings that currently normally take place on an inset day.

Experience

  • Level 3 or higher in Early Years education preferred.

  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
  • SEND experience would be beneficial

If you are passionate about early childhood education and making a positive impact on young lives, we would love to hear from you.
