Encore Energy are currently recruiting for Meter Readers in the postcode area.


Working a 37.5/40/42/45 hr week between the hours of 8am-6pm during winter and 8am-8pm in summer, this role is very flexible and works around other commitments.

There are also excellent progression opportunities.
This is a full-time permanent position as a meter reader and will involve you to carry out the below duties:

  • Customer Service.
  • Taking the data information from the Gas and Electric Meters.
  • EV Charge Point Surveys.
  • Business Support Meter Reader.
  • Adhering to Health and Safety guidelines at all times.

Essential Requirements:


  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Overtime rate is available.
  • Company car. (Only in specific postcodes)
  • Use of your own vehicle (Mileage expenses paid)
  • Be able to work outside in all weathers.
  • Some previous Customer Service experience.
