Description

Royce is seeking a Training and Skills Administrator to provide high quality, effective administrative support for the Institute's Training Team.

The role will support activities across the team's remit in delivering scientific training, technical skills courses, student engagement activities, outreach events and public engagement activities.

These projects are undertaken locally within the Royce Hub Building, the wider university campus, at Royce Partner organisations, and at other participating sites.

The post holder can expect to interact with trainers and speakers from academia and industry, PhD and post-doctoral students, as well as members of the public visiting Royce.

Travel within the UK might be required in support of external events.


In addition, the post holder will work closely with members of the Operations Team and wider Royce Hub team in other administrative duties as required.

You will have excellent administrative skills and experience in financial administration. You will be comfortable dealing with competing priorities, working accurately and precisely to deliver to strict deadlines. Excellent organisational and time-management skills are essential.
