About the role.


We are looking for an experienced Female support worker with a background in working with people who have a Learning Disability, Autism or experience in supporting people with behaviours that challenge.

You may have transferable skills or experience such as working in Mental Health settings, or with those living with Dementia.

You will be passionate about providing the right support.


The person you will be supporting is 30 year old Emma, who loves to laugh, make things and to feel cared for.

She enjoys all things arts & crafts as well as puzzles, and has no challenge in finding herself something to do.

She has a great level of understanding and can have a good conversation, and tell you what her wants and aims are.


She has a diagnosis of mild learning difficulties, but at times can feel her emotions quite strongly, and will need to feel supported and cared for.


Emma needs someone who is active and can keep up with her, and most importantly is positive, and willing to take an interest in the things she likes.

Someone who will work together with her to get things done.

About PBS4


We are a not for profit and social enterprise support provider for adults and young adults who have learning disabilities and/or autism.

We support people to live in their own homes, with their own tenancies and our model of support is a practice called Positive Behaviour Support.

Our CEO Jonathan Beebee is a registered Learning Disabilities Nurse and qualified Behaviour Analyst.

We are a medium-sized organisation supporting 35 people across Hampshire, Dorset, Berkshire and Oxfordshire and with a workforce of just over 200.

As an Enablement Assistant you will have the support of a team of people dedicated to supporting that person.

You will also be able to access support from the Deputy Enablement Manager, the Enablement Manager, and the Positive Behaviour Support Clinician who provide you and the team with management and leadership.

Your shift pattern may consist of day shifts, waking nights and sleeps.
