As the Project Supervisor you will be accountable for supervision and safe management of projects within our Capital Delivery team to ensure that they are delivered safely, on time and to appropriate levels of performance.


You will Support and assist the Site Assurance Officer and Project Delivery Engineer by having a constant presence on site, demonstrating visible leadership and building effective working relationships with internal and external teams to drive projects forward and ensure their success.


What you'll get to work on:

  • Liaising with Main Work Contractors to ensure that the competent project resources are deployed
  • Reviewing that the project work scope is being complied with, in line with the contract that has been awarded
  • Monitoring CDM compliance of all works
  • Tracking of project spend against sanctioned budget
  • Conducting site visits to ensure that setting to work has taken place effectively, with the control documentation briefed effectively, roles and responsibilities are clearly understood and followed
  • Ensuring strict compliance with Safe Control of Operations (SCO)
  • Ensuring compliance with management and control of new works, modifications and repair policies (e.g. G17/G19 process) for project work scope
  • Ensuring adequate RAMS are in place for the project work scope
  • Ensuring compliance of contract and subcontract provisions

Who are we looking for:


  • HNC/SNVQ L4 or equivalent operational experience in network engineering techniques supported by relevant training or qualifications
  • IOSH
  • Experience in High Pressure (above 7 bar) gas construction / pipeline projects is preferable, other similar experience may be considered
  • Comprehensive knowledge of and understanding of gas plant and process systems and Gas Distribution's Core Processes
  • Understanding of risk management principles, HSE regulations and Process Safety Principals
  • Knowledge of Network Operations and SCO requirements and engineering standards
  • Experience of contract management
  • Effective communication Skills, verbal and written
  • Coaching, influencing skills
