Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Bench Joiner to work at Jelson Head Office in Leicester. Family-run for 130 years, we strive in delivering exceptional service to our customers.

The main purpose of the role is to be responsible for manufacturing, assembling and finishing joinery to a high standard.

Your key tasks will include:

Fabricating kitchens, stairs and general joinery
Excellent attention to detail required & being able to work on own initiative
Assisting with coordinating jobs and processing through the workshop
Assembling components
To work within a team and individually
Operate a range of machinery and handheld tools
Compliance with health & safety policies, risk assessments & procedures at all times
Carry out additional duties within your skill and competence
Compliance with GDPR at all times
Previous experience of working within a workshop environment
NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Bench Joinery
Ability to manage priorities to support the workshop team
