They are currently seeking a Legal Counsel who will primarily manage FCA regulatory, payments and data protection work for the team, but also some wider commercial contracts and general in-house work.

  • Advising on FCA regulatory, payments and data protection issues, including some cuttingedge arrangements between financial service providers and supporting the Compliance team and wider business with queries.
  • Reviewing and drafting a range of commercial contracts with suppliers and partners (often from a regulated financial services perspective);
  • Researching and keeping up to date on various regulatory and legal changes across the UK and international territories and updating, the board, senior team and relevant stakeholders with relevant and digestible information; and
  • Providing training material/running sessions to enhance key stakeholder knowledge across the group where necessary.

  • Qualified solicitor with excellent academics and training in a recognised commercial law firm;
  • The role is suited to a lawyer with 3/4 years PQE and experience gained in financial regulation;
