Are you a passionate Teaching Assistant looking for a role in a new school? Or are you a Nursery Assistant looking to start a career in the classroom?

We are seeking a
Teaching Assistant to work within one of our fantastic primary schools in
Maidstone.

The role

We are looking for a TA, who can be part of a team supporting learning for pupils in the classroom.

There may also be opportunities to work on a small group/ 1:1 basis with students with SEN.

You must be able to demonstrate that you are able to work within the guidelines of our school ethos by demonstrating a caring and nurturing attitude whilst having high expectations for pupils to succeed.

We are looking for someone with

Previous experience of working with young people
Good numeracy and literacy skills
GCSE Maths and English
Basic understanding of child development and learning
Ability to use basic technology
Ability to relate well to children and adults and respond appropriately
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Understanding of relevant policies/codes of practice and awareness of relevant legislation
