Consilium Recruit are proudly supporting Unipart Manufacturing who are in growth mode across a wide sector range.They are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive and support the growth of existing and new sectors within their manufacturing capacity.
This is a permanent role.Commutable from:
Coventry, Birmingham, Leicester, Northampton, Warwick

The Role
The Business Development Manager will support the collective growth of Unipart Manufacturing with a cross-sector focus including automotive, electronics, assembly manufacturing and emerging technologies.
You will lead and create strong working relationships with key partners and clients to promote and foster manufacturing partner level agreements.
Representing Unipart Manufacturing, the Business Development Manager will promote existing infrastructure capability alongside demonstrating the organisation's expertise and credibility in the manufacturing arena.
This will include aspects such as a zero-defectapproach to process design, gateway-driven project management, operational excellence embracing lean methodologies and world class supply chain and quality management.
You will utilise your experience within manufacturing partner-led business development to create value proposition for clients and showcase the capability within design for manufacture and sequenced delivery.
The Business Development Manager will play a pro-active role in the field visiting client sites and attending relevant events to promote Unipart's capability.
The Person
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic about developing partnered client relationships and possess a 'hunter' mindset to locate and develop business.
The Business Development Manager will be highly conversant with modern manufacturing methods and Design-for-Manufacture processes.
This is a team-driven business, and the BDM will play an active role in supporting all aspects of sales and delivery across the manufacturing operations.
