Salary:
£30,000 - £50,000 DOE

Position:
Full Time - Permanent

Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm

Experience:2 Years Health and Safety on construction sites + crane knowledge

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and recommending corrective actions.
Collaborate with operational teams to ensure compliance with health and safety protocols during lifting operations.
Provide training and guidance to employees on safe work practices and the proper use of safety equipment.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, analysing root causes and implementing preventive measures.
Maintain accurate records of safetyrelated incidents, training sessions, and inspections.
Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to continuously improve the company's safety program.

Qualifications and Experience:

Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
Proven experience in a health and safety role, preferably within the crane hire or construction industry.
Familiarity with relevant health and safety legislation and standards.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detailoriented with excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Certified Health and Safety Professional (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) is a plus.
Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.
