Description

Reporting to the Head of Claims, you will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating a team of Claims handlers, pro-actively managing household / domestic property claims through to settlement.

Working from home, you will play a vital rolewithin the business by helping them strive to provide a first class customer service, ensuring a seamless claims service from beginning to end.

You will also be a point of contact for the team for referrals, payment authority approval, escalation of largeloss cases and complaints and general team leader duties to ensure continued improvement of the Department.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Review and allocate claims in accordance with individual licensing authority
  • Work with your Manager and colleagues to create a process that ensures claims are dealt with achieving optimum quality, productivity and profitability
  • Provide technical support to colleagues
  • Contribute to team brief, exchange and dissemination of information to comply with organisational protocols.
  • Complete regular Progressive Performance meeting for all immediate reports
  • Undertake reviews of the team portfolio to identify skills gaps and areas for improvement
  • Coordinate surge response activity with those who can provide visit support
  • Promote and enhance the corporate image
