Paid Search Manager

Glasgow - Hybrid & Flexible

Up to £45,000
A new role has been created in a leading Scottish retailer and E-commerce business.

The business currently turns over £10 million on its website, trading both B2C and B2B with over 14,000 products on offer across numerous regions.

The successful Paid Search Manager would be instrumental in the further growth strategy of the business E-commerce website.


The business currently has an established Marketing and Digital team just shy of 10, and this role will come in as a vertical lead in the business, reporting to the Head of Ecommerce with a talented team to support their efforts.

The business has achieved all of the above growth in the past 6 years and does not plan on slowing down with new sites about to be launched.


The Role:


They are looking for a data-driven and commercially aware and passionate Paid Search Manager to join the team and be part of their continued growth.

The business has an in-house digital team but previously outsourced all Paid Search.

This role has been created to bring all digital marketing resource in-house, and thus will give the successful Paid Search Manager the chance to sculpt this role out for themselves and lead on all things strategy.


Responsibilities:


  • Research and identify actionable opportunities in paid search.
  • Engage in data driven testing to design and enhance campaign performance.
  • Building and monitoring profitable paid search campaigns from creation through to reporting.
  • Day to day management of paid search activity through the business.

Requirements:


  • 3 years+ demonstrable experience in a growth focused paid search role.
  • A proven understanding of paid search and analytical platforms, Google Ads, GA4 etc.
  • Experience of building product feeds for paid search.
  • Ability with paid search automation tools.
  • Reporting and tracking paid search activity.
  • Excellent numerical skills using Microsoft Excel.
  • Requirement to deliver a high impact growth strategy.

Desirable but not essential:


  • Experience of working with affiliate marketing.
  • Experience of paid social activity.
  • Experience of paid marketplace activity.
