Are you looking for a mobile cleaning job in the south of Essex?

Then Mitie are looking for another mobile cleaner to work across our South of Essex buildings.

You will be working as part of a team with our current mobile cleaner but will be responsible for your own sites within our portfolio.

However, your line manager, our current mobile cleaner and our cleaners onsite will be on hand to show you the ropes and assist with anything you may need.


Job Details:

  • 30 hours per week as a minimum
  • Overtime will be available.
  • No set start or finish time this will vary depending on that week's schedule.
- £20,000 per annum
  • Overtime will be paid on top a month in arrears.

Main Duties:

  • Cover holiday and sickness which depending on type of site may involve cleaning of; Receptions, lobbies, halls, kitchens, toilets, offices and meeting rooms.
  • Carry out deep cleaning to sites when holiday and sickness covers are not required.
  • Carry out cleaning audits via an app.
  • Managing your stock levels and reordering in good time
  • Raise Hazards and near misses via our online system
  • Communicate in a engaging way, and bring to life the Mitie values daily ensuring they and their teams demonstrate the exceptional every day.

Essential for this Role:

  • Previous mobile cleaning experience
  • A full clean driving licence
  • Be flexible with working times.
  • Fully understands colour coding/ COSHH & Risk Assessments.
  • Have the IT ability to use an app to conduct and complete cleaning audits, carry out online training and toolbox talks as well as raise hazard and near misses.
