Job Summary:

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Improver on a contract basis.

As an Electrical Improver, you will work under the guidance of experienced electricians and contribute to the successful completion of various electrical projects.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Support experienced electricians in pulling and securing electrical cables through conduits and specified routes.
  • Prepare materials and tools for electrical installations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Conduct basic tests on electrical systems and assist in troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with relevant safety standards.
  • Learn to interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams to understand project specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and participate in routine maintenance activities.
  • Contribute to the documentation of work performed and ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment.
  • Strong commitment to safety practices and protocols.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from experienced electricians.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations is an advantage.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and working in various environments.
