One newly established posts have arisen for a self-motivated and enthusiastic person join the Quality Management Team as an administrator within the Compliance Unit.

This post would provide an excellent development opportunity for someone wishing to broaden their experience in an area of quality improvement, quality compliance and quality control and general administrative duties.

You will be working closely with the trust accreditation and assurance manager, project support managers and the quality compliance function within NWAS by supporting compliance with local and national regulatory requirements for the CQC and other regulators


The main component of the role will be to provide administrative support for several quality compliance projects and the quality assurance programme and maintaining correspondence logs of data requests and responses for external bodies and regulators.

Your duties will involve liaising with leaders at all levels and assisting in the administration of quality management services and compliance projects and supporting processes such as meeting management, annual leave administrative systems, risk management systems, reporting systems and procurement.

You should be able to work under pressure, meet agreed deadlines, and be capable of organising your own workload.


Working within the Quality Management Team you will also be required to support other quality initiatives to meet organisational objectives and to support administrative resilience arrangements across the team.

Applicants should have good communication and organisational skills, reasonable knowledge of Microsoft software.

Applicants will be required to work as part of a team and support other administrators in the team as needed.


North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides 24 hour, 365 days a year accident and emergency services to those in need of emergency medical treatment and transport.


Our highly skilled staff provide life-saving care to patients in the community and take people to hospital or a place of care if needed.

We also provide non-emergency patient transport services for those patients who require non-emergency transport to and from hospital and who are unable to travel unaided because of their medical condition or clinical need.


Alongside the other emergency services, we also work to ensure the safety of the public and treatment of patients in the event of a major incident.

We also deliver the NHS 111 service in the North West. NHS 111 replaced NHS Direct in 2013. This service was introduced to make it easier for people to access local NHS healthcare services in England. It provides non-emergency medical help fast, and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
