Trainee Teaching Assistant


We are currently seeking Trainee Teaching Assistants across the Leeds area who are either looking to gain classroom experience before embarking on their teacher training or have previous experience of working with groups of children or young people and are looking to work in an education setting.


We have a variety of short-term, long-term, and permanent opportunities across a variety of school settings including mainstream and SEND.

Full induction training is provided by our inhouse training team.


Responsibilities include:


  • Preparing the classroom ready for lessons
  • Supporting children, working 1:1 with some children helping those who need extra support to complete tasks
  • Helping teachers to plan learning activities and complete records
  • Supporting Teachers in managing class behaviour
  • Supervising group activities
