Glenfield Invicta Limited is part of the AVK Group; who are market leaders in the design, manufacture and supply of valves, pipe fittings, hydrants and flow control equipment to the Water, Waste Water, Oil and Gas industries throughout the world.

Based at our site in Maidstone, we are looking for a solution-oriented Customer Service Advisor.

This is an excellent opportunity for a high calibre individual who can display desire, drive and determination to provide an exceptional service to our valued customers and partners.


You should be a highly motivated and pro-active sales professional who is able to take responsibility while maintaining a collaborative approach within a busy, operationally focused team.


We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor who shows initiative with a natural care for our customers and to administer all aspects of Sales Order processing, including; preparation of quotations, sales orders and purchase orders.


ABOUT THE ROLE:


  • Communicating with customers to clarify requirements
  • Assist customer queries and process sales orders
  • Prepare and send quotations to customers in a timely manner
  • Advising pricing, quotations, lead times and delivery dates
  • Liaise with suppliers and technical support to ensure quotations meet our customer's requirements
  • Ensure the swift and effective resolution of customer complaints when they arise
  • Sales order processing and the raising of purchase orders
  • Manage the customer data base ensuring it is up to date and accurate
